What is it?
Ionic-Detox™ is a unique body balancing footbath scientifically designed to eliminate toxins from the body.

:What is detoxification?
Detoxification is a normal bodily process of eliminating and neutralising toxins via the colon, liver, kidneys, lymph and skin. However, our bodies are often overloaded and many unwanted substances stay in our tissues. Ideally we should live in a pollution-free environment, eat untainted foods and drink pure water. This isn’t practical, so the next best thing is to keep pollutants to a minimum and to periodically get rid of them through a detoxification programme.

How does it work?
The Ionic-Detox™ is an effortless way to speed up the natural body process of detoxification. Into the detox unit go water and a pinch of salt. Then the ‘Array’ (two small metal coils/electrodes) is added, which generates and passes a low current through the water causing a process called ionisation; the splitting of the water and salt into their molecular structure. The electrically charged sodium ions are drawn into the body through the pores in the feet. The ions are taken up by those cells in the body needing them to help move materials across the cell membrane. The cells are able to absorb the sodium and eliminate the toxins they do not need. The body can then eliminate the toxins normally, primarily through urine and faeces.
A course of 6-10 treatments, once or twice a week is recommended with the possible need for a treatment once a month after the course has finished.
